I have very straight hair, it’s a family trait and I do love it – most of the time. There are some times though when I just crave a bit of volume, some nice natural waves to shake up the routine of long straight hair. I have never been into using a curling iron, as it seems more like frying my hair than curling, and the end results seem a bit artificial for my liking.
I actually won my Vidal Sassoon hot rollers at a bingo game, and am so glad I did! Otherwise I might never have personally known the joy of natural looking bouncy curls that hot rollers give. We’ve all seen the effects of hot rollers gone too far when hair comes out looking over the top and I think that’s why I didn’t try them before, but playing around with my new hot rollers, I realised that you can create hairstyles that are natural and give volume without looking too much at all.
I’ve found that my hot rollers fit in with my morning routine just fine, so getting great everyday styles for work has been a breeze.
**There’s a sprinkling of about 12 blogs on our site that are my friends and family’s experiences with hot rollers. I wanted to find out what their thoughts were about the particular hot rollers they’ve been using, or just started using.
