I’ve always looked at celebrities and models with their perfect wavy hair, bouncy curls falling around picturesque faces and thought I could never achieve such bouncy curls without a team of stylists to curl and crimp and brush and comb me to perfection.
That all changed for me when I attended a friends wedding recently and a girlfriend arrived looking just like a fashion model with natural waves that were just what I had always hankered after. I begged her to tell me which salon she had been to, but was promptly told she ‘did it herself’ at home, with heated rollers. She told me that the secret to getting a natural look was to have a variety of sizes, so of course I have rushed out and bought myself a set of medium rollers, large rollers and small size rollers. It took me a couple of goes, but I think I have now pretty much got the hang of them and am planning to paint the town red this weekend with my bouncy curl in tow!
**There’s a sprinkling of about 12 blogs on our site that are my friends and family’s experiences with hot rollers. I wanted to find out what their thoughts were about the particular hot rollers they’ve been using, or just started using.
