I’m a tea tree oil lover. I use it to cleanse my tooth brush from time to time to get rid of bacteria. Put a dot of it on any spots that start to come up (that nips them in the bud before they take hold) , wipe down any countertops with it, the list goes on. But…………………. until now I didn’t realise studies have shown new hair growth is promoted. Wow! (just stumbled upon this recently) I have a book called Australian Tea Tree Oil Guide (3rd edition) by Cynthia Olsen. She says “by massaging the oil into the scalp the new hair is promoted. ” I like the sound of it cause it’s not only cheap but it’s also natural and it makes sense too- Often our hair cuticles can get blocked which can cause thinning and hair loss. The tea tree oil can unblock that by massaging it in. You can also put it into your shampoo to help keep them unblocked. (Just add 10 drops of oil to every 8 ounces of shampoo.)

I am going to start massaging it into my boyfriend’s hair. Check back to see how we go. I’ll keep posting updates so we can all see if there are any changes……?! p.s. maybe it’s a good idea to use a carrier oil when rubbing the oil on your skin. Carrier oils are the fatty oils like coconut/olive/almond oil (all oils made from nuts too) etc.
