I go on a lot of business trips and there is one thing I never leave behind, and that is my hair care routine. Many people seem to think that hot rollers are a once a month accessory, but I use mine almost every day, just to give curl definition and a bit of extra volume. That’s why I have a great little travel set of hot rollers which I always keep in my suitcase so as to never forget them when I’m on a business trip.

The best way I have found to plan my morning routine using hot hair rollers is to heat them up before getting into the shower, so they are ready to put in once I’m done washing! Once they are in my hair then I am free to do my makeup, have breakfast, get dressed and then they are the last things to come out before leaving the hotel. If I spray with a flexible hairspray my curls keep all day, and that works for me whether I am at home or at a hotel!

**There’s a sprinkling of about 12 blogs on our site that are my friends and family’s experiences with hot rollers. I wanted to find out what their thoughts were about the particular hot rollers they’ve been using, or just started using.

This is ok most of the time, but when there is somewhere I am going to that I really want to look fabulous for, a first date, a big business meeting, then I find that the ‘beach babe’ hair that I have doesn’t fit the bill.

I have found that the best thing for my hair has been using small size rollers after a good hair mask for frizz control just in the ends and mid section of my hair. I don’t have a problem with volume at the roots, so putting small hot rollers in the ends gives me a great natural look with curl definition that looks polished, rather than bed hair curls which can be great for some occasions, but not when you want to look professional. The small size rollers give a subtlety to my hairstyle without the over the top volume that can sometimes come from using loads of big rollers – which is fine for a theme party, but better not worn to work!

The best thing I** have found for fantastic bouncy curls when I don’t have hours to sit and curl my hair with a curling iron is my Remington hot rollers. Hot rollers can be used for more than just getting natural waves, my hair is already a bit curly but I use my hot rollers for curl definition and it even helps me with frizz control.

The best thing about them I have found is that you can keep active whilst your hair is getting fabulous! You’re not stuck to a plug in the wall meticulously curling each section while the time ticks away, once the rollers are in, you are free to do your makeup and get dressed which saves a bundle of time. I have found that my Remington hot rollers curl really fast, so I save even more time getting ready, so much so that I even curl my hair before work and it doesn’t add that much to my morning routine at all. (Let’s me feel colorful at work as well as play!)
