My** hair has always slightly perturbed me, it’s a bit wavy but quite limp and sometimes can look positively drab so I have tended to wear it up a lot, putting a hair clip here or there to keep it off my face. This kind of bland hair care routine was making me a bit depressed about my hair – I just wanted to be able to wear my hair down and have some volume in it.

I have to thank my sister for making it happen! She surprised me one Sunday with some Conair hot rollers and a quick makeover. The large rollers really lifted my hair at the roots and created a style that had natural waves and volume. I had previously thought of hot rollers as just for getting a head full of fat curls suitable for proms or weddings, but now realise that they can be an everyday tool in your hair care tool box to add volume and get bouncy curls that look naturally beautiful!

**There’s a sprinkling of about 12 blogs on our site that are my friends and family’s experiences with hot rollers. I wanted to find out what their thoughts were about the particular hot rollers they’ve been using, or just started using.
