Aaah to have long wavy hair extensions.....maybe even a little longer!
Permanent Hair I like the sound of- even if it’s not my own.
I like the more permanent idea of hair extensions- even though you’ve got to have them ‘maintained’ compared to the clip in extensions variety. It was a toss up on which one of those to get but I decided on the permanent human hair extensions as it’s less time consuming on a daily basis. (so long as it’s fair trade human hair, that’s a must for me)…. that’s when I came across Great Lengths!
I found Great Lengths hair extensions. I not only love the look of them but their reliability and where they come from too. I saw a video of Oprah talking about where the extensions come from for this brand and it turns out the donators of the hair have rituals in India for religious reasons and have their head shaved. It’s considered an honor for them. From their the church (which performs the rituals) sells the hair to the US and other countries bringing in around 18 million dollars per year for their church, the money is then put back into the community!
As far as the reliability, Great Lengths uses only ‘Remi’ hair which is hair that’s collected from the cuticle facing the same direction from root to tip, like your own hair. Basically means it won’t tangle when made into extensions. And due to the way they adhere the hair to your own it won’t damage your existing hair. The bonding method won’t cause any stress on your hair at all. They last about 6 months and grow out with your own hair! I love the sound of that
